More than one hundred excellent photographs (all in High Resolution), from the first Peace March in Denmark (21, 22 and 23 October 1960).


Campaign against Nuclear Weapons, formed in 1960 , was a movement that aimed to stop the nuclear arms race and keep Denmark free of nuclear weapons .



The start of the first Peace March took place on 21 , 22 and 23 October 1960 . Almost 1,000 people gathered in Holbaek and went to Roskilde . The day after the Tune , and on the third day the protest train from Tune Town Hall Square in Copenhagen . The number of participants had grown to 5,000 people. The purpose of the march was to demonstrate against nuclear armament in both East and West.
